I took a break from driving for a day to check out some of the wildlife refuges in northern California.

I had a bunch of apples leftover from my trip to Harmony Orchards, so we made a pie for Thanksgiving. (This was by necessity; none of us is a big pie lover.)

They took me to Galco's, a store devoted to bubbly beverages.
